The Box follows Satish, a lonely New Zealander travelling from India who arrives in New York City hoping to find comfort with his ex-girlfriend. Instead, he is forced to face the personal demons that he keeps hidden away in a box, tucked deep in his backpack.

The Box is a no-budget short film, (literally shot on $25) created and devised by Director Peter Salmon and actor Rajiv Varma. Scenes were largely improvised on set with the actors based on a detailed scene breakdown. Peter also shot and edited the film.
